Alleluiah!

I'd never thought I would be so glad to see one of these trucks pull up the drive. Alleluia, we are back in business (no pun intended ;). A couple of days of cleaning and we should be back to our uneventful lives and that is good.....Bunny

  1. UGH! Hope all goes well. My sister & BIL had called that company. The tech was inexperienced and made more problems than before he arrived. Don't pay the full amount until you know he fixed the problem and didn't cause another!

  2. Between having the tank pumped out and then everything roto rooted we are back in business. All is draining wonderfully, we can shower, etc. The tech did all sorts of tests to make sure all was well before he left. We now know why this happened and will do the necessary to prevent it from happening again. Let's just say it was how the house was built, the very unusual lack of snow combined with below zero temps and everything fell into place to set this situation in motion. There are some things we can do to further improve it but they are OK to wait until spring. In the meantime all is well back on our little edge of the Deer River. Thank you for your concern, Beckie. FWIW, both gentlemen that came were very experienced and well recommended. DH did his homework. We live in a very small community of little villages so you can't get away with much around here without everyone knowing.

  3. I know you will be delighted when clean-up is over and you can put this behind you. Geez, nothing worse than sewage problems.

  8. So sorry to hear you are having to deal with this. Best wishes for a speedy recovery, I know that kind of thing is awful in the winter.
