I would not have considered the problem of sewing a BH over a seam. Thank you! I've always had buttonhole feet with the prongs, knew what they were for and what to do, just never did one. I'll have to remember this for the near future to try out.Summersethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00364235843222794829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7871855805349050304.post-15689421572590586472010-01-26T12:30:33.800-05:002010-01-26T12:30:33.800-05:00Thank you Bunny for this excellent overview of cor...Thank you Bunny for this excellent overview of corded buttonholes. I've always been afraid they were too difficult since I had never seen them done before. I now feel brave enough to try them myself. I have a Viking and my buttonhole foot will work. I had to do a google search to see if there was a specific foot for this :-)
Thanks again! I never like the way my buttonholes look. The pin didn't anchor the floss very well but I did find a decent substitute. I used paper tape to anchor the floss and it worked great. It didn't leave any sticky residue on the floss or fabric either.Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15283318998385718706noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7871855805349050304.post-53138120072721661362010-01-25T06:45:44.432-05:002010-01-25T06:45:44.432-05:00Thanks for the explanation and the beautiful photo...Thanks for the explanation and the beautiful photos.

HattyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7871855805349050304.post-26933700856320071602010-01-25T03:24:19.507-05:002010-01-25T03:24:19.507-05:00Those buttonholes are beauties.
