Hijacked!

First, an apology! I am sorry for the links to ads that have suddenly appeared in my blog. The blog appears to have been hijacked, IMO, and key phrases and words now have links connected to them that show popup ads that I have not authorized. Please do not click on any links that seem to be just regular words, not things linking to an actual other post, blog or pattern number or such.

If anyone can tell me what this is and how to get rid of it I would surely appreciate it. Did I inadvertently click on the wrong thing on Blogger? Thanks for any assistance offered....Bunny

    1. I can't see any in your former post, assuming you are referring to that one.

  3. Do also make sure you change your password to be sure no one is able to access your webs back end.

    1. Good Idea, Anon. It doesn't seem to be on there now but I just went in and deleted some things that appear to have shown up today on my computer so hopefully that is the end of that. Let me know. Prior to this latest reboot the word "assistance" in this post was tied to a link. Please let me know if you see anything like that. These link prompts appeared in ALL blog posts. Let's hope this is put to rest. Thanks, everyone.

  4. How annoying, Bunny, but everything seems ok now.

Carolyn, of Handmade by Carolyn, had her blog hijacked some time ago. She was actually locked out for a time. As a result of her experience, she had tips on how to tie your password to an authentication app on your smart phone. I took this step. It adds an extra step, from time to time, to log in, but it gives me additional sense of security.

  5. We write are little blogs for our enjoyment and to connect with our fellow sewers and the trolls ruin it. Good luck in turning them out.

  10. Thanks, Maureen. Today is another day and all seems fine now. I think a download I did yesterday brought this on and since I have removed all that it looks OK.

    1. This is more a case of trying to sell something. The links were for ads.
